We're happy to announce that all outgoing and incoming messages will be consolidated into the SetKeeper platform! This will improve:

  • documentation - it's easier to keep a record of the production's progress when the full conversation is available

  • reliability and transparency - in addition to our beloved message delivery analytics, you'll be able to see whether or not someone has replied to your message and answer their questions.

Contents:

From the Distribution Module

1) From the Distribution tab, click on "Messages", then "Inbox".

2) Click on "See Conversation" to expand the conversation, or click the arrow to reply directly to the message.

4) Once you click on "See Conversation", you'll be redirected to the profile page of the crew member who replied.

Their name will be in the top left corner and their reply will be in the middle of the page.

If you'll scroll down, you'll see right-aligned messages - these are the messages sent from SetKeeper to the crew member.

From the Crew Member's Profile Page

You can also access the string of messages between the production and a crew member by clicking on their name on the People page, then clicking "Messages" in the white column on the left.

Messages from the production are aligned right, and messages from the crew member are aligned left. In the example below, the crew member has not written anything back to the production.

Replying from Your Inbox

You will receive an email from SetKeeper whenever someone replies to a message you sent from SetKeeper Distribution.

The name of the sender is in bold at the top of the email: "You received a message from..."

You can reply directly to this thread from your personal inbox.

Replying from the SetKeeper Inbox

You can also reply from the SetKeeper Inbox, if you prefer.

We hope you enjoy this feature! Please reach out to support@setkeeper.com if you have any questions or feedback.

Happy Filming! ๐ŸŽž๏ธ
