It is possible for you to temporarily access archived data after the project is expired.

Here is what you can do to have access depending on your role πŸ‘€:

For security reasons, our Support team does not have direct access to a project's data.

To avoid any unauthorized access and to protect our customers' data, we always ask for proof of identification. We understand that you may feel inconvenienced or even irritated when we ask you for information and/or proof of identity. But just as the security checks at an airport ensure that all travelers can enjoy a safe flight, it is both necessary and in the best interests of our customers and users to perform these verifications.

Only Project User Administrators can be authorized to access archived projects. A Project User Admin is someone who had a username and password to login to this project on SetKeeper and use all its features. It's possible to be a Project User but not an admin. Only a Project User Admin can grant authorization to re-open a project.

1) If you were a Project User Admin and:

  • You are not an employee of the production company: You will need to send us a written email from the production company authorizing you to access the project.

  • You are an employee of the production company: You can send us an email with a request for temporary access. We will reopen the project for a short period of time.

2) If you were not a Project User Admin and:

  • Other Project User Admins are no longer associated with the project (for example, they left the project or their email address was deactivated after production) OR you cannot contact them: We will ask you to send an email from the production company of that project authorizing you to access the project for a specified period.

  • A Project User Admin on that project is still associated with project and you can contact them:

If the Project User Admin is an employee of the production company, they need to send us an email granting you authorization to access the project.

If the Project User Admin is a freelancer (i.e. not a permanent employee of the production company), then you must send us an email containing written authorization from the production company for you to access the project.

Warning ⚠️: The access extension will only last for a few weeks maximum.
