What do the different access rights mean?

When setting or changing access rights to your users, you may wonder what they mean, here we'll let you know everything!

Project Admin

  • Full access to all of the project (manager level access everywhere)

  • Access to the project settings

  • Create new departments

  • Define new admins

When clicking on your admin's first name, you'll have access to this page. Admins are Managers everywhere

Knowledge Base

Manager - User can write and publish articles.

No Access - User can't see the Knowledge Base module. However, they will still be able to see published articles in their Crew Personal Space.


Distribution

Manager

No Access: Can only see documents he received from Distribution


People + Digital Cast and Crew Onboarding

Distributor

  • See, add, edit, export contact’s basic information (first name, last name, email, phone number)

  • See, add, edit, export lists (crew and cast)
    Within the People module, with Manager level in Distribution you also get to:

  • Manage contacts in distribution groups

  • See documents and messages received by contacts

  • Send messages to contacts

Collector

Manager

No access: Cannot see the People module and cannot access any onboarding features.


Users

Manager

Writer

  • Re-organise the order of users and teams

  • Create new Security Groups

  • Modify users info sheets

Reader

  • See the list of users

No access: Cannot see the Users module. Can only see and edit his own information.


Script

Manager

Reader

  • See the scripts and export sides

No Access: Can't see the Script module

Departments

Manager 

Writer

  • Create & edit script elements and sheets, apply labels

  • Import content and fill technical information

  • Add comments to pictures, videos and sheets

Reader

  • Consult list of elements (Casting, Sets & Locations...)

  • See sheets 

  • Add comments to pictures, videos and sheets

Planning

Manager

  • Select planning color

  • Create additional calendars that are independent from the Departments. All users with reader access to the Planning can see them.

Writer

  • Create, edit & delete events linked to the departments they have access to

Reader

  • See the plannings related to the department she/he has access to and the events these plannings contain

No access: Can't see any of the plannings
